Stormy yet eventful weekend! Despite the storm that we battled to get to the venue (WE WERE OVERLOOKING MANILA BAY!), I had a meeting with UPLB COSS about an event partnership and the newly formed WoMoz team had a meetup to discuss our event and project plans immediately after.
I am very excited about what’s in store for the WoMoz PHL team! Must keep my lips sealed hurrhurr!
We had dinner with the Mozilla PH’s mascot, Alab, Martin Jimenez.
I was supposed to have a slumber party with my highschool friends (hence the loaded bag) but I felt really miserable after the commuting ordeal to get to the venue. Good thing I felt better the next day for…
With Daryl! He used to be my LRT mate in college. I love how he can easily be dragged to events and foodtrips. Definitely a must-have buddy, haha.
An introduction from the alumni. I told them about my first General Assembly way back 2009 which happened in that same venue and with that same weather. Guess what, I got stranded due to flood that reached my chest on that day, haha. Good thing it didn’t happen this time.
Core 6.0’s president! I watched him grow in the org, so proud of him ;_;
The newly grads.
We didn’t arrive on time for this epic performance. The geeks led by the Hopeless Romantic King, Charles. Hahaha. That’s the TomWeb Web Dev Department, they earned the Best in Attendance award for being complete in this event!
To bad many have left before we could take this picture! That’s the TomWeb Team for this academic year!
